Training Day 1

I need to at least keep myself accountable for my food and exercise for the next month. I am doing a 10k mud run at Camp Pendleton on June 4th or 5th (not exactly sure which day that weekend). And boy am I NOT ready. At all. So, it's time to get tough and rough and buff and not so fluff and huff.
So far today -
Breakfast: Orange juice and a fruit and yogurt parfait with granola.
Snack: Strawberry whole grain bar.
Lunch: A grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato on whole wheat.
Dinner: Pasta shells with brussel sprouts and half a sweet Hawaiian roll.
Dessert: A scoop of ice cream.

Exercise: Yoga and cleaning.

kris: day twelve...the omnom diet

breakfast - apple cinnamon oatmeal with honey added and water to drink.

lunch - chile ramen noodles with cholula added.

dinner - chicken pan fried noodles and a cream cheese wanton.

dessert - a klondike bar.

exercise...i walked, but that's it. hopefully this weekend i can get a good hike in!

kris: day eleven...the yawn diet

i had a cup of coffee and a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese for breakfast.

lunch i had a chicken salad.

and dinner i ate two pieces of veggie pizza.

i drank lots of water throughout the day.

exercise...walked for my lunch break.

kate: day eleven...the lazy diet.

breakfast: none to speak of. water.

lunch: turkey sandwich on 12-grain with provolone, lettuce, feta, light mayo, and mustard.

snack: leftover chicken taco on a corn tortilla.

dinner: three small square slices of pizza (equivalent to one large triangular slice) with chicken on one piece, turkey pepperoni on the other, dipped in bbq and ranch.

hot tea and a glass of wine after my walk and before bed. 

exercise: took a long walk.

kris: day ten...the you don't even want to know diet

today was, to say the least, a food overload diet. where to begin?
i started with a twix and 3/4ths of a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese for breakfast. paired with water.
lunch was leftovers from the night before - whole wheat penne pasta with veggies.
snack...two peanut butter cups.
dinner consisted of 2 1/2 mini bbq ranch beef sliders with a side of potatoes, green beans, onions and mushrooms.
dessert (because, ya know, i had already eaten so much chocolate today, so why not?)
a hit from the whipped cream can. two klondike bars. yes, two.

exercise was 15 minutes of non stop ab workout.

kate: day ten...the three meals diet.

breakfast: cinnamon harvest cereal with skim milk.

lunch: grilled quesadilla with cheddar and chile verde sauce, sour cream on the side. coke to drink.

dinner: chicken tacos, flash fried in canola oil...with green chiles, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, and hot sauce. water and wine to drink.

exercise: walked.

kris: day nine...the stress diet

morning...water and a coffee with cinnamon and frothy non fat milk.

lunch was a sandwich with doritos and a chocolate milk.

dinner i made whole wheat penne pasta mixed with vegetables, salt, pepper, garlic and extra virgin olive oil infused with basil.

i had an otter pop after dinner for dessert. yum.

and does doing a stress test on a treadmill at the doctor count as exercise? i did some light stretching and yoga moves when i got home, but not a lot.
